Event Settings
How to update event details and navigate the event settings structure
Event settings are where administrators configure and manage the details of an event. Only users with EventAdmin permission can make changes here.
Getting There
Click the event name
Select the event name in the top-left corner of the screen to open the event menu.
Open Event Settings
Select Event Settings from the menu.
General
The General tab is where you update the event's name and set its event type. Changes to the event name take effect immediately across the platform.
The event type defines the event's attribute profile. Use the Event type picker here to set a type, or to change the one already assigned. Changing the type reshapes the profile to the new type's sections, and any values you have already filled in are preserved. The profile values themselves are filled in on the event dashboard rather than here. See The Event Profile for how that works.
